I'm Not Sure If This Is Normal Or Not, But

I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I'm on a form of birth control which is the depo shot, and this year I had to stop my use of it because I had no insurance to help, once I got insurance again I started the shot back up. Well I've been having breakthrough bleeding periods. Except this time they are lasting a lot longer then usual, it's real heavy for a day, and by heavy I go through at least 2-3 tampons in an hour and a half, then it goes really light to where I could go through 1-3 tampons in one day. I'm nauseous sometimes. My cramps are pretty painful. I'm not sure what's going on, my doctor isn't open till Monday. Is there something wrong?
