I'm seventeen years old, and my wrist hurts though I've never done anything which might seriously injure it or cause serious pain. I have not put any exertion on my wrist any time recently, though I do use it actively (e.g. for writing and other everyday tasks). This has been going on for about two or three years now. I haven't been to a doctor to see my wrist, as it was never too serious, but it's worrying me since the pain won't go away. It's not exactly an aching feeling, just general pain, especially right below my palm where I think the radius is. The pain then seems to spread up to my thumb, and may even go up my whole arm. Sometimes the pain feels unbearable (it seems to me that way), and I think this same type of pain also starts elsewhere on my arm, right above my elbow or the inside of my arm. Are there any possible explanations and recommendations for what I should do?
