Infection In 13 Month Old Boy, And Now In His

Infection in 13 month old boy, and now in his 37 year old aunt who was visiting him when his symptoms were developing, especially with him all day yesterday (maybe for 2 days). He was vomiting a few times a day yesterday, and having a rash over much of his body. ...He still had an appetite, would drink milk or water between vomiting. (Guessing fever and vomiting first, and then rash, and he's not been sleeping well at night. ...not high fever or Mother, or Dad would've told me.

His mother, 32, has sores in her mouth, and she suspects he does too.
A young doctor did see him, and doesn't think his condition so far is bad.

Now aunt has vomited 3 times today, at about 2:30pm, then a couple hours later (or less), and again at 9:30pm, and started running a fever before the 9:30pm vomiting, a fever of a couple degrees above normal for her.

This is information provided by Grandmother, about 3500 miles away from my daughter and her 13 month old son (in daycare about once per week).

Both mother and aunt had chicken pox as children. They do appear to be getting some of little boy toddler's symptoms.

Doctor who saw him thought of Coxsackie, but child doesn't yet have anything on feet (not sure about hands) . Neither his Mother nor Aunt have ever had Coxsackievirus infection.
