Is It Necessary To Test An Infant For HPV Infection Whose Mom Had HPV During Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor, I was diagnosed with the high-risk types of HPV associated with cervical cancer when I ve done my cervical screening four months after my childbirth. When I get pregnant, a Pap test haven t been taken. The nurse said they re not doing smear tests for pregnant women. I was 2 or 3 weeks in pregnancy when I asked about Pap test, so I don t know since when I m infected with HPV. However my baby could contract HPV from me as she passes through my birth canal. I know that the transmission between me and my baby is rare, but I worry about my baby very much. I ve spoken to my GP, but she said there is no reason for testing her. Would you please tell me how can I test my baby, because I feel concern for her safety. Now my girl is 6 months old.
