I have mild leaks in the Tricuspid, Mitral and Aortic valves. Is this rare to have so many leaky valves? My cardiologist said he is not concerned at this time and is prescribing no medication. He will do an annual ECG and stress test on me to determine if the valves are getting worse.
I recently passed the stress test and got my heart rate up to 160 on the treadmill. I exercise every day for one hour or more, mostly cardio related. I am 67 years old, 74 inches tall, and weigh around 195. I watch my diet and take a daily aspirin and statin. I am also a non-smoker.
My family has a history of CAD, actually my father had triple bypass surgery when he was only 51 and my grandfather died from a massive coronary at age 64. But they both smoked and did not watch their diets.
My coronary tests have indicated that I have around 40 percent blockage in the LAD, 30 percent in the RC, and maybe 10 percent in the CX.
Am I at serious risk?
