Is It Safe To Take Adderal Over Dexedrine?

Thank you. I have been taking Vyvanse over past 2 years ranging from 80 mgs, to more recently 50 mgs. daily and for past 10+ months. It doesn't seem to be working any more for me. My two daughters, both in college, ages 21 and 19, currently take Adderall with one xr tablet in the morning, and one regular tablet in the late afternoon and they say the medicine works very well for them, and its obvious to me as well. I have been reading and doing research about the different aadd medications available and am thinking of asking my Physician to switch me from the Vyvanse to what my daughters are have been prescribed or to the extended release Dexadrine. Do you have any recommendations. I am in excellent health so I am not concerned with take g either the Adderal or Dexadrine. Clarity of thought and focus are critical to me throughout the days as is avoiding feelings of lethargy and the like. Thank you for your professional insight.
