My wife has chronic migraines. Onset was at noon today when she took Imitrex. We then visited a clinic who offers SPG blocks, which lessened severity for an hour or so. Then a promethazine suppository, which helped her rest for about an hour before excessive vomiting. Once we reached the next doctors office, where she gets her (regular) shot in the butt (I believe it s promethazine and sumatriptan), she was then throwing up bile. The shot helped for a few hours, but she s now awake, still has a headache, still cannot eat crackers, drink a few sips of water, but is too promethzined-up to communicate well. What should we do?? Another promethazine suppository so she can hold down another imitrex? hospital? any quick advice would be much appreciated...
