Is Pregnancy Advisable For A Woman With Oversized Kidney?

I was born with one kidney almost double the size of the other; the renal tract is the same size as for the normal kidney size. I was hospitalized due to a kidney infection when I was 8 years of age. Told by doctors to never over strain my body with excessive workout and to always go to the wash room when nature calls. Also, in hearing that during delivery of a child women can potentially lose a kidney, and my one is bigger, I am very hesitant in having kids....I am of the mindset that I do not want to have children! But, my significant other wants to... Could you please tell me what is my risk for losing a kidney, or even my life if I was to have a child.
