It's About My Daughter( 19 Year Old), Who We Came

It's about my daughter( 19 year old), who we came home from a trip and said she wasn't feeling well. She had lower abdominal cramps, no nausea, no diarrhea. We thought it might be something she ate. Within a week, the cramps subsided, only to be replaced by a low grade fever. She was complaining of a headache with pain in her eyes. Her jaw also hurt. I then noticed a tick on the back of her thigh. Unfortunately she got a hold of it, and flicked it, so I don't have the tick to test. The bite looked slightly inflamed, but no rash or bull's eye appeared. But I was still worried about Lyme, so I got her a script for Doxy, which she is on now, today being day 4. But here's the thing: she still has the low grade fever, and she still feels sick. She has an appt. tomorrow with my gp who specializes in infectious disease. Any suggestions on how we should proceed are welcome.
