I've Had Bipolar Type 2 Disorder Since 1991. I Had

I've had bipolar type 2 disorder since 1991. I had 5 or 6 very mild manic episodes, the last of which occurred in 1993. I am too depressed t work anymore. I have zero friends, despite living here in Berkeley for about 17 years ( I had 1, and a few of his friends, but he moved to Boston several years ago. I've tried everything I've had opportunity to try. For the past several years my Doc has had me on Adderall, diazepam and low dose of clozapine. My problem: the only thing I've tried that lifts my depression is MS-Contin (first from the street, then for 3 or 4 months by prescription from a doc in Chicago, where I was staying with my parents. He has since retired.) My current psychopharmacologist has no experience Rx'ing opoids, but doesn't discourage my use of MS-Contin. It's the difference between my deep depression wasting the rest of my life (I'm 44) and my being able to function. How can I go about finding a Dr who will prescribe a low dose of MS Contin for me? I know they're still around.
