Last Saturday (the one before this past weekend) I woke up feeling very very dizzy to the point where I couldn't raise my head to get up out of bed and had to call campus security to open my door and help me out of bed because my bed is lifted. I was good for a little while and had thought it went away until I had another episode on Monday at the dentist. I assumed it was because I was sitting back in the chair for two hours. Then this morning I woke up dizzy again. But it didn't take as long for it to pass and wasn't as intense as the first time but I ended up missing me 8:00 am class because my balance was out of whack; I could hardly walk straight. The dizziness only happened when I tried to lift or turn my eyes or head. Afterward I started experiencing a sharp pain in my left ear that lasted for about thirty minutes. I'm feeling somewhat better now but whenever I try to lean my head back, the dizziness comes back so bad that I can hardly see (I can see but my vision can't focus on anything due to the room spinning) right now I'm not dizzy as long as I don't lean back but I'm feel awfully fatigued, sleepy and run down. This just started a couple of weeks ago and I'm stumped over what the cause of this could be. My parents won't take me to see a doctor and keep telling me it's all in my head but I doubt that, but I'm seriously worried about this as I don't drive, the nearest clinic I can go to other than our Campus Wellness center who do not have the nicest staff, is a CVS minute clinic which is 8.7 miles away from the school.
