Last Year, At My Annual Gyno Appt, My Doctor Found

Last year, at my annual gyno appt, my doctor found a swollen lymph node in my groin area (about the size of a small baby carrot). He said we could biopsy it, but it was probably from grooming down there. Now, almost a year later, there is a large indentation next to the lump. It almost feels as if there is no muscle or fat underneath. What could it be? Should I worry?
