My 13 year old daughter started getting a rash that looks like hickeys on her legs back in April. I took her to the pediatrician and she did not know what it was and referred her to a pediatric dermatologist. He said he wasn't sure but could be granuloma annular, prescribed topical steroids, recommended skin biopsy in three weeks, and diabetes testing. I am not convinced of his diagnosis because all the pics I see of granuloma annular are raised flesh colored. Her legs have flat, smooth reddish brown, literally looks like suction type bruises. I called the pediatrician to followup on Thursday.
