My Uncle is 63 and is an alcoholic, and has been most of his life. For the last month or so, he has been having these symptoms:
Chest pain, morning harsh dry coughing, pain in left shoulder, numbness and tingling from left fingertips to left elbow, left fingers turning pure white, with coldness, two nights ago, those white fingers turned a dark bluish purple, and this morning he woke with a lump by his heart and broken capillaries. My aunt told me he was told years ago that he has a leaky valve. Not sure which one. He was also diagnosed with high cholesterol and hypertension, yet takes nomedication... for anything. Also, has bad eating habits.
I am his 46 year old neice, and have some cardiovascular clinical medical assisting experience. I
I expressed to him that he probably has clogged arteries and most likely A-Fib and/or CHF.
Your thoughts???
