My Child Has Complained Of A Mild Stomach Ache For

My child has complained of a mild stomach ache for the last week. A stomach flu was going around her school the week before. She has no fever, no vomiting, no diarrhea, her appetite is good, she is drinking water and Ginger Ale fine. She is able to urinate, pass gas and defecate with no problem and her stools are solid. But, her stomach is tender to the touch above the belly and on the lower left side. The lower middle and lower right side of her stomach do not hurt and are not tender. She is keeping food down with no problems and doing a bicycle exercise to move gas as we did when she was an infant seems to relieve some of the pain. Thinking gas as we just completed a 2,500 mile car trip.
