My dad has had mobility issues for quite some time, but could usually walk short distances such as going to the bathroom, although it wasn't real pretty. He always bent over forward to prevent falling over backwards. After having a severe case of stomach flu that hospitalized him, he entered a nursing home for rehab. he was starting to get stronger and went to an appointment with a new neurologist. Dad was put on Sinimet about eight years ago for a short time and it made him act like a crazy person and was taken off of it. The new neurologist asked if we would be willing to try Sinimet again and we agreed. Within the first couple of days his hands stopped shaking and he was doing pretty good Now, about three weeks later, he has had trouble walking and even standing most of the time, but some days he is not as bad. He also leans to his left at times while sitting in a chair or in bed. He is a very challenging case for sure. Could the Sinimet be causing the trouble walking and standing, and maybe the leaning?
