My Daughter Has A Ganglion Cyst In Her Wrist. It

My daughter has a ganglion cyst in her wrist. It started about 6 years ago, but disappeared after she stopped playing the violin and had some Hand therapy. Now it has suddenly returned, perhaps due to playing piano again (although not excessively- only a few times a week for 2-3 weeks). It is much worse this time, and her range of motion (both AROM and PROM) are severely limited. She thinks it may have ruptured. We are doing ice, gentle ROM and paraffin baths. What else should she do? Coincidently she has an appointment tomorrow with an orthopedist for her sprained ankle which may need to be drained, but he is an ankle specialist so I don't think he would be able to treat it.
