My Dog Has No Appetite, And No Energy, But Licks

My dog has no appetite, and no energy, but licks dirt and eats grass, and then throws it up. I took her to local vet and they ran lots of test, but found nothing. Vet said she has very low red & white blood cell counts, and she may need a blood transfusion. These treatments are very expensive and I live on Social Security. Is there anything I can give her to increase the blood cell counts?
