My Husband, A 69 Year Old Male, Has A Blood

My husband, a 69 year old male, has a blood pressure of 160/96, pulse 69. He has a history of AFib but is currently not in AFib. His BP for the last 7 days has been in the 134 to 148 range, lower BP 80 to 96. A new symptom started today, indigestion or heart burn as he described it. On last monday, we visited physician assistant took EKG which was normal. She refered us to cardiologist. My husband spoke to nurse and physician assistant who viewed EKG and concurred that all looked normal. BP stayed in the above mentioned area except for this evening which went to 160/96. He is lethargic and headed to bed. I am thinking emergency room?
