My Husband Has A Hx Of Necrotizing Pancreatitis And Type

My husband has a hx of necrotizing pancreatitis and type 1 diabetes, resulting from the pancreatitis. He has had most of the common problems that follow nec panc. In July of 2016 he had a liver abcess and a stent was placed in the opening of the bile duct. It was supposed to be removed in 3-5 months, but that didn't happen. He is now experiencing a feeling of fullness, loss of appetite, and bowel changes. Could these symptoms be related to the stent, and could the stent be someplace it shouldn't be?
