My husband has been diabetic for many years. He injects Humalog 4 times daily, (over 100 units) and Lantus 40 uni
ts in the evening. In October, 2016, his blood sugars became elevated to the point that most readings are over 200 and at times in the 300s. His average for the last 14 days is 284. He has been tested for UTI, had body scans, MRI, and PSA. The only things discovered were an elevated PSA and stones in the bile duct. The stones were removd on Dec. 9th. The bloodsugar was better the next day and a few isolated times in the week following. Since then, readings are high most of the time. Any idea WHAT could be causing this?
