My husband is 69 years old (young) and very active.... He hunts, fishes, chops wood, builds fences, keeps the farm animals, etc. etc... He hurt his arm using a brush hook and it became so sore he could not raise it. Then he fell and caught himself with that hand... Now it for sure cannot be raised and hurts when he uses it. Well, we had the MRI, and they said just shoot him and put him out of his misery... just joking, but that is not an option... 2 questions? Does age have anything to do with whether it can be repaired or not? Does age have anything to do with whether medicare and United of Omaha will cover the surgery necessary to repair it?
