My Husband Is A Healthy, 31 Year Old. No Medical

My husband is a healthy, 31 year old. No medical conditions. Tonsils out & tubes in ears as a kid. We have all (us & 2 kids) recently had a couple bouts with cold/flu & have been rid of it completely for a while now. 2 days ago, he developed a stabbing pain just off center in the lower part of his head, just above his neck, had a short (few hours) fever that ranges between 100.0 - 102.1. Ever since, he has had pain in his neck & shoulders & what seems to be just extreme cold/flu symptoms, sans fever. He has been extremely tired & today feels kind of "loopy" as he put it. I am urging him to go into urgent care, just looking for any input in the mean time. THANK YOU!
