My Husband Is Having Stomach Pain, He Has Had It

My husband is having stomach pain, he has had it now for 24hrs with no relief. He said he feels bloated and like he needs to use the bathroom but can’t. That is very unusual for him, he goes several, several times a day. He was throwing up green phlegm looking stuff yesterday. Friday evening he ate a salad, some of his steak, later when we got home he finished his steak and part of his baked potato. Yesterday, I got him to eat a few tablespoons of chicken soup but he threw it up right after eating it. He has had his gall bladder removed. Does this sound like some kind of food poison with the lettuce? Should I take him to the emergency room or try to wait til tomorrow?
