My Left Arm And Three Fingers On My Left Hand

My left arm and three fingers on my left hand keep going numb. It's not painful, but the tingling sensation is odd. Sometimes I wake up at night any my whole arm is numb. During the day, it seems to come on suddenly-- mostly my forearm and my ring finger, middle finger, and thumb. When I shake my arm it goes away.
