My mom is 90 years old, She had been very active, driving her Tahoe to local stores and church and had never been ill enough to be hospitalized for more than just overnight stays until December, 2017 when she had pneumonia. Her kidneys started to shut down while in the hospital. She was there 46 days.......her kidneys started functioning again and she finally was able to return home where she stays alone. She also was also diagnosed with AFIB a couple of years ago and has a pace maker. In the past 2 months her lower legs have started weeping clear fluid. They will stop, then she gets redness in her lower legs and her legs begin leaking again. She is (was) a Registered Nurse for many years at one of the local hospitals and stopped working as a nurse when she was 79 1/2. SHe blames the problem on a medication her heart doctor put her one while she was in the hospital Tykison. She had several side effects and told the doctor she was NOT going to take it any longer. Is there a home remedy we can use to help my moms legs? She still tries to be as active as possible, but has to have pads under her feet and soaks her shoes when she goes to church or anywhere. Can you please advise how I might help my mom? Thank you so much!
