My mother is a patient of CAD for the last 14 years but is stable after taking medicines. Her blood pressure remains normal and her pulse is also normal.
Recently, she felt breathlessness and after consulting local doctor, he suggested to admit in the hospital. After admitting in the hospital on 3rd May 2016, , it was found that all her parameters are OK excepting the TLC count which is fluctuating within 26K and 37 K. slowly there is a rising trend even after changing the antibiotics 2 times in last 9 days.Her haemoglobin is 15.1 and she is otherwise feeling fine. Initially doctors suggested Left Ventricle Failure and said they have to go for angiography after TLC subsides. But now doctors are clueless about the reason for hi TLC level.
All tests incluing Blood, urine,sputum culture have not indicated anything substantial.
Doctors are suggesting Bone marrow biopsy for possible Chronic Myeloid Leukemia(CML).

Please advise whether to go for this test at this stage.
