My son (28 yr) reports he gets sharp pain in the centre of ribcage when he sneezes, and significant discomfort in chest area when he lays down (has trouble breathing when he first wakes up). Says it feels like his lung is rubbing against his ribcage. Pain spread at times to his upper back. Symptoms worse in morning, and when he laughs, breathes deeply, or doing situps. He has been taking ibuprofen to relieve the pain (doesn't help much).
All started 3 months ago and seems to be getting worse. Sprained right wrist and it does not seem to be healing.
Has been trying to eat healthy, getting 8 hours of sleep, BP is 120 over 80. Xray showed no issues. Also, had an MRI 3 months ago, and blood test - both found no issues.
When my son flew home for a few days it was like watching an old man walking and not a healthy 28yr old.
