On Sunday, 2 days ago, my Dad was at Home Depot walking around, but he had to leave and come home because he felt dizzy and his left foot felt like he was walking on sponges and his blood pressure was around 183 over 95. He went to bed for a little while but I thought his speech was slower and a little bit slurred. We begged him to go to the ER, but he didn't. Today he finally went the ER, they did a CATSCAN and checked his blood and urine. They said there was no sign of heart attack or stroke, but that he has a lot of sinus infection and ear wax that was seen through the CATSCAN. They gave him an antibiotic and a 2 week Rx for blood pressure and said he needs to find a doctor to start going to. I don't understand, what about the slow dragging speech and the left foot with less feeling and his left hand isn't grabbing things like it used to, and his blood pressure was still high when he left the hospital. There has to be something else wrong, not just a sinus infection and ear wax. Please help me to understand this....
