Over a 2 year period of experiencing "extreme fatigue" and visiting 3 cardiologists, I finally was directed to a surgeon. On 10/3/13 I had a mitral valve repair, 4 CABG, a PFO repair and a septal myectomy. I'm told by my physicians that I'm presently on a minimal amount of medication. Unfortunately, 2 years after surgery, I continue to experience extreme fatigue. I have a left bundle branch block as a result of the septal myectomy and only lasted 4 minutes on a treadmill during a stress test last monday. I had a follow-up nuclear stress test last friday. Could the statins and coreg be the reason for my continued fatigue?
