PT 57 Yrs W/ Parkinsons. Started Having Mild To Severe

PT 57 yrs w/ Parkinsons. Started having mild to severe pain near sternum(xyphoid) after trip to Peru. Several tripd before no issues.Have family there. .Have no GERD,no reflux, no vomiting,no blood in stools, fair to good appetite, can eat all sorts of foods w/o problems, pain does not radiate into arm, no tingling. Have tried Pantoprazole/Nexium which alleviates pressure but returns after wear off. .Lorazepam helps also but pain returns
Pain is esp. strong when in sitting position(lose breath and therefore appetite) and radiates from center to both sides of rib cage as if I had multiple broken ribs on either side. Also creats shoulder blade pain to a point that I do get nauseated but insuff. to vomit.Lying flat on back or front is best and pain dissapears. Researched web think of hiatal hernia or xyphoid process. Input appreciated. Peter
