.Right kidney measures 88 mm. Left kidney measures 100 mm. Bilateral kidneys are normal in size. Both kidneys show increased cortical Echotexture with altered CMD. No focal lesion / back pressure changes noted. On color and doppler study, both kidneys show slightly reduced parenchymal vascularity. Bilateral renal arteries shows normal course and calibre. No focal area of stenosis noted. Bilateral renal arteries were evaluated for PSV, EDV, RI and AT at renal hilum and at origin. The values were symmetrical and within normal limits. Peak systolic velocity ratios in aorta and renal arteries were normal for both sides Bilateral inter-lobar arteries show normal RI, AI and AT. IMPRESSION: Reduced parenchymal vascularity in both kidneys, however doppler indices are within normal limit. Bilateral medical renal disease.
