September Of 2015 Diagnosed With Pleurisy. No Cough, No Fever.

September of 2015 diagnosed with pleurisy. No cough, no fever. First sign, spit up blood. Metallic taste at back of throat, small amount, bright red, lasted only a minute. Then, chest pain (dull and centralized) that wouldn't go away. Been to ER twice and got a primary care doctor setup. Did X-Rays (2), CAT scan, EKG, and all show nothing of consequence. Was diagnosed with pleurisy. Dry pleurisy, no effusion. Cause: assumed viral but no true indication of causation. Since then, pain seems to go around in circles (used to be in back, moved to ribs, then to chest, and around again). Very sharp, stabbing pain and non stop, all day, everyday. Not responding to NSAIDs (tried Naproxin and Meloxicam) and now on Prednisone steroid (4th day no sign of improvement). Back of throat itchy/sore. Pain in chest past/ribs, difficult to breathe at times. Sharp and persistent. Spit up blood sometimes usually in morning. Why have I not healed? Is this pleurisy or misdiagnosis? What is underlying cause?
