So I have been having this cough mostly on sometimes off for about a month or 2. (I'm 13 and a girl) it is sometimes a dry cough and sometimes a wet/mucus cough. And I would sometimes have "cough attacks" where I'm constantly coughing for a minute or 2 and can't stop. Also, sometimes when my throat is very clogged up when I breath you cane hear this soft, high pitched noise. Kind of like a soft high pitched wheeze. At first I thought it was just my allergies and the mucus building up in my through the from allergies, or a cold. But now I'm not so sure. First let me tell u Oma a very active and healthy kid. In the whole year I'm on 2 swim teams ( a year round one and a summer one) also I play cross country, field hockey (both indoor and outdoor ) , basketball, and lacrosse. During the current season, I'm playing basketball, my year round swimming, and indoor field hockey. And this is the weird part, when I'm physically active my cough completely goes away. During both practices and games for all the sports I play my cough will just go away when I play and am physically active. This has only been happening recently and it has made me very curious. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be? (If your wondering yes I did tell my parents and we will most likely set up an appointment to see my doctor, but I would like to see if anyone has an idea of what it could be) thank you so much!!
