Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 70 year old male whi has chronic fatigue. I can sleep over 14 hours a day if I don t have to get up. I have pain all over my body, primarily muscle pain. The pain is transient , not 24/7. Some of the reading I have been doing seems to point to fibromyalgia or ALS. Is that a realistic diagnosis or could there be some other possibility?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is fatigue then this need to be look for some systemic disease, and for that it may need some routine tests of blood and urine with imaging study if this came negative then symptoms could be nonspecific one, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
