Suggest Treatment For Cold Along With Chest Congestion

I have a cold or flu. Most of the symptoms are typical- mostly a cough, some congestion, but there are these strange sounds coming from my lungs, like a drum cadence, or a dog or cat purr. It isn t painful, but I am wondering if it is something I need to check out.
