Hi, This is a question regarding my 54 year old husband (New Zealander European) who suffers from gout and has done so for over 20 years. He is an active person, riding mountain bikes and motocross, doing physical work and goes to the gym for a weight programme twice a week (for over 30 years). His diet is very healthy with very little saturated fats, only small quantities of red meat, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. We have lately been using ginger in our diet also. He is now on daily pills for his high uric levels and gout, prescribed by his doctor (allopurinol tablets). Thanks, Jan
