Good day doctor, nice of you to be online helping those in need!
I'm starting to get very frustrated with my back. In mid-April I was running when I first felt a pain in my left shoulderblade muscle. I just ran through it. Then one week later, as I was walking outside, that same spot really started to hurt. And ever since then, it's been a problem. I can't walk for more than 20 minutes without feeling discomfort in that area. and not only the left side now, but the right side. My neck's movement is also restricted. If I move it too far left or right, then the shoulderblade muscle will hurt.
I've tried many things here in this month and a half. I've tried rest. I've tried applying ice for 20 mins a day, 3 times in the morning, and 3 times at night. In early May I returned to the gym to do heavy lifting with the back, and man, that was the wrong thing to do. Those muscles got really sensitive the day after. When you touched the muscle then it almost felt like you were touching a bruise.
I don't know if the muscles are stiff, if they're pulled or what. But its really getting annoying. Rest hasn't helped, and like I said, if I walk for more than 20 minutes then the pain comes. Just a dull ache right now, but enough to know that things aren't right.
Any suggestions sir or madam?
