Suggest Treatment For Recurring Diarrhea And Painful Gassy Stomach

Yes, I have been having gastrointestinal issues for about two weeks. It started with diarrhea, it stopped a few days later, after some pepto bismol, and following the brat diet. So let s say that was Thursday 1/8. The following Tuesday, I had very painful gas and my stomach was distended. And whenever I drank I had horrible pressure in my stomach. I treated it with Gas-x and been. I felt better for about a week. The diarrhea came back this past Friday, and has only subsided slightly. But it cam back today. The diarrhea stops with medication. I went to see the doctor she believes it s viral and I may be reinfecting myself. I have been extremely careful and I still have it.
