Hi, hi, my father is suffering witha swollen groin and pain around the groin area along with like a period/ibs pain across his lowered back and stomache, but won't see a GP, his father died of bowl cancer at his age . he states it hurts his groin when he stretches, he cant stand for long or lift things. he has lost a lot of wieght and is turning jaundice in colour low iron def. he is also passing blood from his back and front passages. he is not eating other than i little snack here and there but causes him severe abdominal cramps when he does he says every thing tastes bland? and cant sleep more than ten mins during the night, he has tried various over the counter medications but they make the pain worse other than asprin which eases it has been going on no for 11 months now and now he is deteriating fast? is it testicular cancer and what can be recomended as he wont seek medical help. he is a 48 year old white male heavy smoker and did use to drink extreme amounts of spirits.

also what is the standard life dependancy if left untreated or most likely spread?
