Ten Months Ago, I Had A Mole Removed From My

Ten months ago, I had a mole removed from my buttock that required stitches. The surgeon used two layers of stitches. Report on the mole came back as pre-melanoma. About a week ago, I started feeling a tight, pulling sensation near the site of the stitches. There's no pain, and I can't detect any swelling. When I sit or bend, it just feels like my shirt has gotten trapped or is clinging to my pants. I hope this makes sense. I'm just curious if this is something that I should have checked or be concerned about. What could be causing this?
