What Are The Side Effects Of Coreg In A Heart Patient?

Hello, My son is 28, has CHF, from 22 yrs. old as viral cardiopathy swine flu. EF 15 at onset now 25 to 30. Functions and works as a teller. On coreg, lisinapril, bumex, digoxin, is coreg still a prefered drug for CHF. Why not just the Digoxin. He has many side effects from the coreg. Was on 50 mg 2 x day now down to 12.5 2 times a day.
