What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Along With Bad Odour?

I was diagnosed with UC , Dec. 2013. I'm 46 and for the past 2 months, I've had extreme queeding, brown discharge, and having to wear pantie liners. The fart builds up in my rectum, but comes out of my vagina. I'm confused and worried. Also, there's a smell of metal or something. What's going on?
