What Causes Burning Sensation In Throat And Constant Thirstiness?

My throat is burning to the point of I can't really speak. Just a few horse words come out, because when I do speak, it's very painful. I assume because of my purging, which was yesterday. I've never experienced anything like this and it bothers me a lot. Oh, and also, I feel incredibly thirsty all of the time. But no mater how much I drink, it still hurts. Please help?
