What Causes Cloudy And Yellowish Vaginal Discharge After Recovering From Yeast Infection?

Hello. I have been diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis. I was prescribed Metronidazole 500 mg, 2 times a day for 7 days. After the 7 days, I developed a yeast infection, so my doctor prescribed me a one-time Fluconazole tablet. All my symptoms didn't disappear, so he prescribed me another Fluconazole tablet. My symptoms STILL seemed to be there, so my doctor did a pelvic exam. He tested me and found that I had both a yeast infection AND Bacterial Vaginosis again. He tested me for STDs and my test came back negative. I am currently taking Metronidazole 500 mg again, along with the 7-day 100mg Fluconazole tablet to prevent a yeast infection. My yeast infection symptoms are completely gone. It is about the fourth day of taking my medications, and I am experiencing a constant cloudy, yellowish discharge that won't go away. What could this be?
