Hi there. I have a daughter that is 13 months now. Her left cheek seems to be a little bigger than the right one. I have noticed that since she was about 4 months old. On every check up with her pediatrician I would brought that thing to her attention but she told me that it is not severe so she can t give me a referral for a specialist. My baby had a habit of sleeping on her right side after she was born, so every time we tried to change her position she would find a way and lay on that side. I think she got a little flat spot on the right side of the head. With time she learned to sleep on both sides but she still finds that her favorite side. Her doctor checked her 2-3 times and did some measuring with her hands, fingers, and said that her ears are OK, eyes same and when she smiles and cries she does not sees any asymmetry. But she said that her left cheek looks a little bit bigger for real and it will fix itself with time. So, my question is : Will the head round on itself as she grows, if there is a flat spot on the head ? And if a baby has one bigger cheek is it always connected with flat spot on the head and what are chances to get even with time ? Thank You !!!
