What Causes Difficulty Swallowing And Tightness In Chest?

I have a feeling in my throat as if it s hard to swallow. I also have a tight feeling in my chest and a feeling of breathlessness. I thought this was related to my asthma, but my doctor checked, upped my asthma meds, and I m still having this throat/chest issue. Any idea on what it might be? So far, I ve had 2 cups of coffee with scrambled eggs. Later, I had an apple. I m reluctant to eat anything else at this point. Is this acid reflux?
