I am a 65 year old Aunt of my two nephews who are 13 (Sunday March 1) and 15 (July 10) of this year. I took them out of a very bad situation and have nurtured and raised them from toddler age. I was married when I first got them, but three years ago we divorced, on fixed income and I am having a real struggle trying to raise them by myself. But, that is really not why I’m writing you. They are good Christian boys, that’s how I raised them to be. I keep them in the Church.
I am writing you because I am going blind (many years ago a doctor told me I would), and so I am. But, I don’t have the wherewithal to see an eye doctor. Raising them takes every bit of the income that comes in. I don’t know what they will do if I am unable to get around and do the things I need to do for them and myself. I need so badly to be able to go to the doctor and see if there is anything they can do for me.
Can you, will you help me in this struggle to see a doctor, maybe there is a chance that I will not go blind if I can get some immediate help.
