Hi there,
My lovely husband (aged 67) has gradually been getting more and more unwell over the last few months after a lifetime of good health.
He has numbness of sensation in his head, chronic pain all over his body that's gradually getting worse. The pain in his foot can be really sore. He feels it's like arthritis (which he is being referred for) pain. Shooting, stabing pains. Also sharp pain in his face, and sometimes in his eyes.
He is constantly tired, but cannot lie down for any length of time as he is painfully sore all over his body. When he sits down for more than 10 minutes it feels as though his circulation has been restricted or cut off and he gets pins and needles spreading from the feet, up the body into his shoulders, arms and hands. Lying down used to give some relief, but not anymore.
When the pain continues for hours on end, he doesn't eat much, and as a result has lost about nearly 2 stone in weight.
My husband has suffered from constipation all of his life, which has become more chronic over the last year or so.
Been to hospital for colonoscopy and barium enema examinations and he's been given the all clear.
He also feels the cold constantly, especially in his feet and hands.,
If you can help us that would be great.
Angelique
