What Causes Pain In Upper Right Side Of Chest?

Hi, I am 17 years old and the upper right side of my chest has been having pain it has happened 2 times and the first time lasted 2 days and I am currently experiencing the pain right now. It is weird because whenever I try to relax is when the area starts to hurt; I know it is internal because it doesn’t hurt to touch the area. The only time it doesn’t hurt is when I sit up straight and stop moving or breathing. On a scale of 1-10 it might be 5 or 6 for pain wise. I have tried to hold a block of ice to it but I’m pretty sure it only stops the pain because my chest is so cold after, also I have taken hot bath's which seem to take the pain away as long as I’m in the bath. It’s not a scorching hot bath it’s just at normal warmth. I am 6 ft tall, 179 pounds. I want to know what this pain could be, how to treat it, what causes it, how to avoid getting it.
